I record a Skypecast and recording stops after a few minutes. The file does not show up in the list. Why is this and how do I fix it?
This is related to a bug in the Skype API (through which Pamela and Skype communicate).
You will notice that Pamela 3.0 and Pamela Call Recorder do not always correctly record a Skypecast. This is not a bug in Pamela and all other type of calls work fine.
This has been fixed in the latest public available Skype 3.0 release. Just grab a copy at skype.com and it will resove the issue. Make sure you also update to the final release of Pamela 3.0!
We wanted to let you know about this in case you have this issue. The solution would be to wait couple of days or to downgrade to the latest stable versions which are Skype 3.0 and Pamela 3.0.
